Small Faux Picot – (sc in 3rd ch of ch-5 sp, ch 3, sc in sc just made)

Large Faux Picot – (sc in 4th ch of ch-7 sp, ch 4, sc in sc just made)

INSTRUCTIONS:

Using color A ch 5, join with slip st to first ch to form a ring.

Round 1: Ch 4 counts as dc plus ch-1 sp, *dc in ring, ch 1, repeat from * 8 times; join with slip st in 3rd ch of beg ch-4. (10 dc, 10 ch-1 sps)

Round 2: Slip st to ch-1 sp, ch 3, dc in same sp, ch 2, *2 dc in next ch-1 sp, ch 2, repeat from * around; join with slip st in top of beg ch-3. (20 dc, 10 ch-2 sps)

Round 3: Ch 3, dc in same st, dc in next st, ch 5, sk ch-2 sp, *2 dc in next st, dc in next st, ch 5, sk ch-2 sp, repeat from * around; join with a slip st in top of beg ch-3. Finish off. (30 dc, 10 ch-5 sps)

Round 4: Join color B in center dc of any 3 dc grouping with a slip st, ch 1, sc in same st, ch 2, Small Faux Picot see special stitches, ch 2, *sk 1st st, sc in next st, sk last st, ch 2, Small Faux Picot, ch 2,* repeat from * to * around; sk 1 st, join with slip st in beg sc. Finish off. (10 sc, 20 ch-2 sps, 10 Small Faux Picot)

Round 5: Using color A join with a slip st in beg sc from Round 4, ch 4, 2 tr in same st, ch 2, sc in BL of 2nd ch of next ch-3 sp, ch 2, *(3 tr in next sc, ch 2, sc in BL of 2nd ch of next ch-3 sp, ch 2,* repeat from * around; join with slip st in top of beg ch-4. (30 tr, 10 sc, 20 ch-2 sps)

Round 6: Slip st in next st, ch 3, 2 dc in same st, ch 2, sk last st, *3 dc in next sc, ch 2, sk 1st st, 3 dc in next st, sk last st, ch 2,* repeat from * around; join with slip st in top of beg ch-3. (60 dc, 20 ch-2 sps)

Round 7: Slip st in next st, ch 3, 2 dc in same st, sk last st, sk ch-2 sp, ch 7, *sk 1st st, 3 dc in next st, sk last st, sk ch-2 sp, ch 7,* repeat from * around; join with slip st in top of beg ch-3. Finish off. (60 dc, 20 ch-7 sps)

Round 8: Join color B in center dc of any 3 dc grouping with a slip st, ch 1, sc in same st, ch 3, Large Faux Picot see special stitches, ch 3, *sk 1st st, sc in next st, sk last st, ch 3, Large Faux Picot, ch 3,* repeat from * to * around; sk 1 st, join with slip st in beg sc. Finish off. (20 sc, 40 ch-3 sps, 20 Large Faux Picot)
